Sunderland’s new City Hall has been built on the site of the former Vaux brewery, spearheading a wider £500m regeneration of the city centre.
Paul’s client won the contract for the 190,000 sq ft building and at 6 storeys high required deep health and safety expertise. Paul was on hand to help deliver the project from a health and safety aspect. He consulted with our client and workers alike to engage them to promote and develop effective measures to secure health, safety, and welfare of everyone attending the large site. He also co-ordinated the total installation of the precast stairs, hollowcore flooring, lift & stair cores and external cladding for the building.
