A 17 storey, premium development, located in the heart of Birmingham comprises 228 spacious apartments, and residents’ amenities including a private gym, cinema, Wi-Fi, café and 24-hour concierge.
The developers and main contractors of this exclusive luxury residential development relied on Paul’s health & safety expertise to oversee the safe supply & fit of a fastrack build system, consisting of external sandwich panels, internal walls, stairs, lift shaft and hollowcore flooring.
Paul worked with duty holders, designers and principal designers to ensure all health and safety aspects of the project on a very site were achieved safely. This included (but not exhaustive to)
- Identifying and eliminating foreseeable risks
- Preparing the construction phase plan
- organising cooperation between contractors and coordinating their work
- suitable site inductions provided
- reasonable steps taken to prevent unauthorised access
- workers are consulted and engaged in securing their health and safety
- welfare facilities were provided
